WESTERN THIRST FOR RUSSIAN BLOOD STRONGER THAN QUEST FOR TRUE- WHO REALLY SHOT DOWN MH17? (video&photo)

The witness is then asked whether he recognized and could name the pilot.

“It was Capt. Voloshin. Vladislav, I think, is his first name. He seemed very scared, frightened and appeared to be acting inadequately. With the other two planes getting shot down, he might’ve mistaken the Boeing for an attacking combat aircraft.”

According to the witness – immediately upon exiting the cabin, Voloshin was heard saying “Not the right plane.” Later in the same day, on the issue of the aircraft, he replied, “Wrong place, wrong time”.

MOSCOW, December 23. /TASS/. Russian special services have evidence that the downing of the Malaysian Boeing over Ukraine’s Donbas area in July 2014 might have happened as a result of an operation by Ukrainian secret services, but it remains unclear whether the ill-fortunate passenger jet had been the real target, or if it was a tragic mistake, a reliable source at a competent agency told the media.

The source claims that according to some evidence, the operation had been planned by the Ukrainian Security Service in cooperation with the National Security and Defense Council. The Ukrainian Armed Forces were ordered to act on the plan without really knowing its ultimate aims.

The daily Komsomolskaya Pravda has published information claiming that Ukrainian military were involved in the loss of flight MH17. The daily said its journalists had found a Ukrainian witness who argues that the passenger jet was downed with an air-to-air missile launched from a Ukrainian Sukhoi-25 fighter-bomber.

“One may also speculate that the Ukrainian Air Force and air defense weapons on the ground had been involved in the operation. It remains unclear whether the Boeing was the target from the outset, or the military had made a mistake,” the source said about the publication.

According to the source, there had been growing evidence exposing Ukrainian secret services’ involvement in the Malaysian Boeing’s crash. According to information available at this point the Ukrainian Security Service, which is in charge of investigating the disaster for Ukraine, has already eliminated all information about the movements of anti-aircraft weapons in the area of the disaster and all data about flights there.

Earlier, the Ukrainian leadership claimed that Ukrainian combat aircraft in the zone of the military crackdown on militias in south-eastern Ukraine flew no sorties during the day when the airliner was lost. “They most certainly did fly,” the source said.

A Boeing-777 of the Malaysian Airlines, en route from Amsterdam to Kuala-Lumpur, crashed in Ukraine’s Donetsk Region on July 17. All of the 298 passengers and crew died. Many of the passengers were Dutch subjects.

In early September, the Netherlands’ Security Council published a report containing intermediate findings of the panel of investigators stating that the plane fell apart in the air after being hit with many objects flying at high speed. A final version of the report is scheduled to emerge within a year after the disaster.

Ukrainian Air Force Captain VLADISLAV VOLOSHIN Accused of Shooting Down Malaysian Boeing MH17

Malaysian Boeing 777 was shot down over eastern Ukraine by the Ukrainian Air Force’s Su-25 attack aircraft. This was stated to “Komsomolskaya Pravda” by a former employee of the Dnepropetrovsk airbase.

The witness claims to have seen the plane armed with a missile of class air-to-air that had flown a mission on the day of the MH17 disaster in the area of anti-terrorist operations in the Donetsk region.

“In the afternoon [July 17], about an hour before the shoot down of the Malaysian Boeing, three Su-25 took off on a mission. The precise time I don’t recall. One of the aircrafts was equipped with a missiles of class air-to-air. The planes were Su-25’s “ said the witness, whose name has been withheld by the publication.

“Only one of the aircrafts made it back to the base – the one that had initially been armed with the air-to-air missile, which was now missing. The other two planes, I learned, had apparently been shot down.”

The witness also said that the missiles installed on the Su-25 had previously been written off, but a week before the disaster, their service was extended to “urgently”.

When asked, the witness did not rule out the possibility the pilot could’ve confused the Boeing with a combat aircraft.

“At the distance he probably couldn’t make out the type of aircraft,” he said, explaining that the missile range is upwards of 10 kilometres.

Russia’s Investigative Committee is investigating a Russian newspaper report alleging that a Ukrainian military jet shot down Malaysian Airlines passenger plane MH17 over the rebel-held eastern part of the country last summer.

“Investigators have talked to the editor-in-chief and journalists of the ‘Komsomolskaya Pravda’ newspaper and have taken the contact details of the Ukrainian citizen [cited in the report],” spokesman for the committee Vladimir Markin said.

He added that the witness would be interviewed as part of the Russian investigation into the use of banned weapons and methods of warfare in Ukraine. The information he shares will be cross-checked, he added.

The witness, who chose to remain anonymous, told Komsomolskaya Pravda (KP) daily that a pilot of a Ukrainian Su-25 fighter jet was behind the MH17 flight downing on July 17. He claimed that the pilot used air-to-air missiles to shoot down the Malaysian Boeing, which he concludes was probably mistaken for a military plane.

“About an hour before the catastrophe, three fighter jets took off [from Dnepropetrovsk]. One of the planes was an Su-25, which was equipped with these kind of [air-to-air] missiles,” the witness told KP in an interview, adding that he was on the airport grounds at the time.

Once the surviving pilot got out of the plane, he looked “very frightened.”

The Ukrainian pilot’s first words as he got out of the jet were: “Wrong plane,” the alleged witness claimed. Later in the evening that same pilot also reportedly stated: “The plane happened to be in the wrong place at a wrong time.”

While the daily could not immediately verify the interviewee’s claims, its readers soon discovered the allegedly involved pilot – Vladislav Voloshin – is real, and has been awarded for his role in Kiev’s so-called “anti-terrorist operation” in eastern Ukraine.

Back in July, the Russian military said that it detected a Ukrainian Su-25 fighter jet gaining height towards the MH17 Boeing on the day of the catastrophe.

“A Ukraine Air Force military jet was detected gaining height, its distance from the Malaysian Boeing was 3 to 5km,” said the head of the Main Operations Directorate of the HQ of Russia’s military forces, Lieutenant-General Andrey Kartopolov.

Kartopolov added that the presence of the Ukrainian military jet could be confirmed by video shots made by the Rostov monitoring center.

MH17 flight crashed in eastern Ukraine on July 17. All 298 passengers and crewmembers on board the Boeing 777 were killed. The victims were from 10 nations, while most of the passengers – 193 in total – were from the Netherlands. The second-largest number of casualties, 43, was from Malaysia.
