Germany clearly against changing the borders, but for an independent Kosovo!

Head of German diplomacy visit to Kosovo analysts assess positively.

Message that there is no change in borders, the geographic map already drawn and the dialogue and peace for all the best – out in the spotlight.
Nedeljko Zejak, connoisseur of events in Kosovo, a longtime correspondent for Blic, Belgrade Pravda, says for DW that the visit of German Foreign Minister, who arrived in time to calm tensions in the north, aimed at a clear message to officials in Pristina, but indirectly, to the Serbs in the north of the Ibar River and official Belgrade.
“His sentences that Germany will not accept any change of borders, no partition of Kosovo, a clear warning. At the same time and his announcement that Germany would continue to lobby around the world for continued recognition of independence, it speaks for itself – to create a new reality in Kosovo. More precisely, here  has to build a democratic and multiethnic society, and in this respect Germany is making efforts to persuade the government in Pristina that not everything is in “Drawing territory lines” in Kosovo’s territory, but also in creating conditions of life for all communities for all citizens, making them equally just like Albanians have . “
